The Mora Companion FT10258 is a military green, with black grip, green sheath. It's a hunter's knife, a woodsman's knife, a lover of all of nature's knife. This knife is food safe, you just have to watch for corrosion and keep it good and clean. This knife is going to need a little bit more care than a normal stainless steel blade knife, but it's going stay sharper, longer, and when it does dull, it won't chip on the edge like some harder steels. Sharpens up Fast with ceramic or diamond stones, hone it with a ceramic rod, gets pretty much as sharp as you'd ever want, if you take the time, it'll just get sharper. The carbon tool steel blade will stain, can rust, if not kept dry and cared for. It all adds to the patina, for us old guys who appreciate it. I use gun oil to preserve knives that I keep away from food, mineral oil on blades that touch anything I'm planning to eat..

It has a high friction patterned grip, and the sheath is Hard wall plastic, military green. Carries best right handed, but on the left, it works for cross draw carry. The sheath is all plastic, but it does have a drain hole. Clips over your belt (very convenient) or over a pocket, and it has the 'trick' button hole on the back to attach to denim jackets and overhauls with steel stud buttons. The knife fits very securely in the sheath, so it's not going to bounce out.
